Transliteration

nidānajño yathā vaidyo rogasya nivartakaḥ | upāyairbheṣajaistadvallayabhogādhikārakaḥ

Translation

Assim como o médico que conhece o diagnóstico verdadeiro remove a doença por métodos e remédios adequados, assim também o preceptor espiritual competente, por meios apropriados, torna o devoto apto a alcançar o estado do Senhor: laya (absorção) e bhoga (fruição divina).
