(Nyāsa-varṇanam) — Description of Nyāsa in the Saṃnyāsa Procedure
Lord Shiva (teaching on mantra-formation in Kailasha Samhita)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Tatpuruṣa
Type: panchakshara
It points to the inner, technical structure of Shiva-mantra: the fivefold mantra is empowered by bindu (the subtle seed-point of sound-consciousness), indicating that liberation arises not merely from letters but from awakened śabda-tattva aligned to Shiva.
The Linga is worshipped through mantra as sonic embodiment of Saguna Shiva; this verse explains how the mantra’s potency is carried by bindu and precise phonetic components, supporting disciplined japa as an offering to the Linga.
Pañcākṣarī japa with careful attention to pronunciation and the bindu (anusvāra/nasal seed), performed with steadiness of breath and mind—ideally alongside Shaiva observances such as bhasma/tripundra and daily Shiva-puja.
