शब्दैकगुण आकाशः शब्दस्पर्शगुणो मरुत् । शब्दस्पर्शरूपगुणप्रधानो वह्निरुच्यते

Transliteration

śabdaikaguṇa ākāśaḥ śabdasparśaguṇo marut | śabdasparśarūpaguṇapradhāno vahnirucyate

Translation

Diz-se que o éter (ākāśa) possui o som como sua única qualidade. O vento (marut) possui as qualidades de som e tato. O fogo (vahni) é declarado como predominantemente caracterizado por som, tato e forma (visibilidade).
