स वह्निः सोम जागृविः पवस्व देववीरति । अभि कोशं मधुश्चुतम् ॥

sá váhniḥ sóma jā́gṛviḥ páv asva deva-vī́r áti | abhí kóśaṃ madhú-ścutam ||

Ó Soma, Vahni, portador da chama, o Vigilante—flui, purificando-te, rumo ao vigor heróico dos deuses; apressa-te ao vaso que destila mel.
