Sukta 8.88
तं वो दस्ममृतीषहं वसोर्मन्दानमन्धसः । अभि वत्सं न स्वसरेषु धेनव इन्द्रं गीर्भिर्नवामहे ॥
taṃ vo dasmam ṛtīṣahaṃ vasoḥ mandānam andhasaḥ | abhi vatsam na svasareṣu dhenava indraṃ gīrbhir navāmahe ||
A ele entoamos para vós — Indra, o fazedor de maravilhas, o vencedor dos ímpetos hostis, que se alegra na essência do Soma. Como as vacas ao seu bezerro nos lugares de águas correntes, assim, com nossas palavras, avançamos para Indra.
