Sukta 8.59
इन्द्रावरुणा यदृषिभ्यो मनीषां वाचो मतिं श्रुतमदत्तमग्रे । यानि स्थानान्यसृजन्त धीरा यज्ञं तन्वानास्तपसाभ्यपश्यम् ॥
índrāvaruṇā yád ṛṣíbhyo manīṣā́ṃ vā́co matíṃ śrutám adattam ágre | yā́ni sthā́nāny asṛ́janta dhī́rā yajñáṃ tanvā́nās tápasā́bhy àpaśyam ||
Ó Indra e Varuṇa, quando no princípio destes aos ṛṣi o pensamento inspirado — a mente da palavra e o ouvir que acolhe — então os sábios firmes criaram as estações; e, estendendo o sacrifício, pelo tapas interior contemplaram a sua verdade.
