Sukta 8.46

Devata: Vāyu

आ नो वायो महे तने याहि मखाय पाजसे । वयं हि ते चकृमा भूरि दावने सद्यश्चिन्महि दावने ॥

ā́ no vāyo mahé tánē yā́hi makhā́ya pā́jase | vayáṃ hí te cakṛmā́ bhū́ri dā́vane sadyáś cin máhi dā́vane ||

Vem a nós, ó Vāyu, para a grande amplidão; vem para a obra sacrificial (makhá) e para a plenitude fulgente da energia. Pois preparamos muito para o teu dar; sim, mesmo de pronto dispusemos um vasto campo para que desça a tua dádiva.
