महान्ता मित्रावरुणा सम्राजा देवावसुरा । ऋतावानावृतमा घोषतो बृहत् ॥
Transliteration
mahā́ntā mitrā́varuṇā samrā́jā devā́v asurā́ | ṛtá-vānāv ṛtám ā́ ghoṣato bṛhát ||
Translation
Grandes são Mitra e Varuṇa — dois reis juntos, divinos e senhoriais, portadores do ṛta. Proclamam em alta voz o ṛta, o Vasto (Bṛhat), para que a alma o ouça e acolha sua lei de justa harmonia.
