Sukta 8.23

Devata: Agni (with his gaṇas/attendant luminous powers)

उदस्य शोचिरस्थाद्दीदियुषो व्यजरम् । तपुर्जम्भस्य सुद्युतो गणश्रियः ॥

úd asya śocír asthād dīdiyúṣo vy-àjáram | tápuḥ-jambhasya su-dyúto gaṇa-śríyaḥ ||

Ergueu-se a sua chama, fulgente, espalhando o brilho que não envelhece. Os luminosos, a hoste em esplendor, são a glória clara da força ardente que esmaga o que resiste.
