Sukta 8.20

विद्मा हि रुद्रियाणां शुष्ममुग्रं मरुतां शिमीवताम् । विष्णोरेषस्य मीळ्हुषाम् ॥

vidmá hí rudriyā́ṇāṃ śúṣmam ugrám marutā́ṃ śimī́-vatām | víṣṇor eṣásya mīḷhúṣām ||

Pois conhecemos a potência feroz das forças rudriyas, dos Maruts cheios de ímpeto impelente; e conhecemos o impulso que avança de Vishnu, o doador gracioso: estas são as forças que conduzem a alma para além de seus limites.
