Sukta 7.61
उद्वां चक्षुर्वरुण सुप्रतीकं देवयोरेति सूर्यस्ततन्वान् । अभि यो विश्वा भुवनानि चष्टे स मन्युं मर्त्येष्वा चिकेत ॥
úd vāṃ cákṣur varuṇa suprátīkaṃ deváyor eti sū́ryas tatanvā́n | abhí yó víśvā bhúvanāni cáṣṭe sá manyúṃ mártyeṣv ā́ ciket ||
Ergue-se o teu olho, ó Varuṇa — Sūrya de bela forma, que se move para os dois deuses, estendendo o seu fulgor. Ele, que contempla todos os mundos, reconhece nos mortais os impulsos e as paixões turvas.
