Sukta 10.95
इषुर्न श्रिय इषुधेरसना गोषाः शतसा न रंहिः । अवीरे क्रतौ वि दविद्युतन्नोरा न मायुं चितयन्त धुनयः ॥
íṣur ná śríya iṣudhér asanā́ goṣā́ḥ śatasā́ ná raṃhíḥ | avī́re krátau ví davidyutat nórā ná māyúṃ citayanta dhúnayaḥ ||
Como flecha para o esplendor, como aljava de reserva, como ganho de rebanhos, como a rapidez de centenas — assim fulgurou o nosso intento. Mas, sem o herói na vontade, as potências trêmulas não atendem ao clamor, nem reconhecem o esforço angustiado.
