Transliteration

pituḥ pratnasya jánmanā vadāmasi sómasya jihvā́ prá jigāti cákṣasā | yadīm índraṃ śámi ṛ́kvāṇa ā́śatā́d ín nā́māni yajñíyāni dadhire ||

Translation

Falamos pelo nascimento do Pai Antigo: a língua de Soma avança pelo poder da visão. Quando os cantores alcançaram Indra na morada da paz, então, de fato, estabeleceram os Nomes sagrados, dignos do sacrifício — formas do Divino a invocar no yajña.
