Sukta 1.33
चक्राणासः परीणहं पृथिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः । न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि स्पशो अदधात्सूर्येण ॥
cakrāṇā́saḥ parīṇáhaṃ pṛthivyā́ hiráṇyena maṇínā śúmbhamānāḥ | na hinvāṇā́sas titirús ta índraṃ pári spáśo adadhāt sū́ryeṇa ||
Eles, cingindo o cinturão que circunda a Terra, resplandecentes com a joia de ouro, não puderam, por seus ímpetos, ultrapassar Indra; ao redor dele os vigilantes dispuseram um anel com o Sol — para que a luz guarde o Senhor da força.
