Sukta 1.33
अयुयुत्सन्ननवद्यस्य सेनामयातयन्त क्षितयो नवग्वाः । वृषायुधो न वध्रयो निरष्टाः प्रवद्भिरिन्द्राच्चितयन्त आयन् ॥
áyuyutsan anavadyásya sénām áyātayanta kṣitáyo návagvāḥ | vṛṣāyúdho ná vádhrayo nír aṣṭāḥ pravádbhir índrāc citáyanta ā́yan ||
Não resistiram ao exército do Irrepreensível; os povos estabelecidos, os Navagva, expulsaram-nos do seu lugar. Como guerreiros de braços de touro, como castrados lançados fora, partiram —descendo à deriva pelas encostas— temendo até a presença e o poder de Indra.
