Sarga 95: Lamentation in Laṅkā and the Causal Chain of Enmity
तं न देवा न गन्धर्वा न पिशाचा न राक्षसाः ।।।।उपसृष्टंपरित्रातुंशक्तारामेणसम्युगे ।
taṃ na devā na gandharvā na piśācā na rākṣasāḥ |
upasṛṣṭaṃ paritrātuṃ śaktā rāmeṇa samyuge ||6.95.27||
Quando Rāma o investe na batalha, nem os Devas nem os Gandharvas, nem os Piśācas, nem mesmo os Rākṣasas têm poder para protegê-lo.
"Neither gods nor Gandharvas, not even fiends will be able to protect, struck by Rama in war."
When one stands against dharma, no alliance can ultimately shield him. The verse presents moral causality: protection follows righteousness, not mere faction or species.
The narration emphasizes the inevitability of Ravana’s downfall once Rama engages him (or his forces) decisively.
Rama’s irresistible righteousness-backed strength; and implicitly, the virtue of seeking refuge in dharma rather than in power networks.
