Transliteration

chidreṣu teṣu bāṇaughair vicarantam abhītavat | ardhayāmāsa samare saumitriḥ śīghrakṛttamaḥ ||

Translation

Enquanto ele se movia destemido por entre as brechas abertas pelas saraivadas de flechas, Saumitri—o mais rápido em ação—apertou-o no combate, ferindo-o ainda mais.
