Aquela lança, arremessada e veloz, sem encontrar obstáculo, como um meteoro caído do céu—Hanumān, tigre entre os macacos, apanhou-a, quebrou-a e rugiu.
Hanuman, the best of monkeys, snapped the javelin flung by Trisira on him, which came down unobstructed like a meteor from heaven and the monkeys roared.
Dharma is shown as fearless protection of the righteous cause: steadiness and self-mastery can neutralize even terrifying assaults.
Hanumān catches Triśiras’ javelin mid-flight and breaks it, turning the attack into a display of dominance.
Hanumān’s extraordinary courage and presence of mind (dhairya, sāmarthya).
