केचिदाकाशमाविश्यकेचिदुर्व्यांप्लवङ्गमाः ।रक्षस्सैन्येषुसङ्कृद्धाःश्चेरुर्द्रुमशिलायुधाः ।।।।

Transliteration

kecid ākāśam āviśya kecid urvyāṃ plavaṅgamāḥ |

rakṣas-sainyeṣu saṅkruddhāś cerur druma-śilāyudhāḥ ||

Translation

Alguns dos macacos saltaram para o céu, enquanto outros se mantiveram firmes na terra; tomados de ira e armados com árvores e rochas, percorreram as fileiras do exército dos rākṣasas.
