महोदर-वाक्यं कुम्भकर्ण-प्रतिषेधः
Mahodara’s Counsel and the Critique of Kumbhakarna’s Solo Assault
कुम्भकर्णकुलेजातोधृष्टःप्राकृतदर्शनः ।अवलिप्तो न शक्नोषिकृत्यंसर्वत्रवेदितुम् ।।6.64.2।।
kumbhakarṇakule jāto dhṛṣṭaḥ prākṛtadarśanaḥ |
avalipto na śaknoṣi kṛtyaṃ sarvatra veditum ||6.64.2||
Ó Kumbhakarṇa, embora nascido em linhagem nobre, és atrevido e de visão grosseira; inchado de orgulho, não consegues discernir, em coisa alguma, o que deve ser feito.
"Kumbhakarna! Although you are born of noble race, you are insolent, seeing your low intellect in all aspects you have no knowledge of what should be done or not to be done."
