Por amizade e pela mais alta devoção, ele—embora inabalável diante dos inimigos—tornou-se brando e condescendente para com o filho do deus do Vento, o herói macaco.
"Under whose command is this unshakeable army with several kinds of flags, posts and weapons armed with missiles, tridents, swords spikes and darts, with elephants the size of Mahendra mountain"
True strength in dharma includes humility: one may be firm against injustice yet soft and respectful toward devoted allies and friends.
After intense combat, Lakṣmaṇa’s attitude is described: unwavering toward foes, but softened by Hanumān’s friendship and devotion.
Humility joined with valor—gentleness toward the devoted (bhakta) without compromising courage against enemies.
