शरबन्धनम् (The Binding by Arrows) / Indrajit’s Illusory Assault and the Vanaras’ Consolation

Mas Indrajit, senhor da grande māyā, cercado por todas as suas forças, entrou na cidade de Laṅkā e foi ao encontro de seu pai.
Great Indrajith surrounded by all army entered the city of Lanka and approached his father.
The verse frames the moral contrast: reliance on māyā (deceptive power) stands opposed to dharma’s commitment to truth, even when it appears effective in war.
After his battlefield success, Indrajit returns to Laṅkā with his troops and goes to report to Rāvaṇa.
Strategic capability (though ethically ambiguous here), highlighting Indrajit’s mastery of illusion as a narrative foil to dharmic conduct.
