समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
उत्तरन्त्यां च सेनायां स्सततं बहुयोजनम् ।नदीस्रोतांसि सर्वाणि सस्यन्दुर्विपरीतवत् ।।।।
uttarantyāṃ ca senāyāṃ satataṃ bahu-yojanam | nadī-srotāṃsi sarvāṇi sasyandur viparītavat ||
Enquanto o exército atravessava continuamente por muitas yojanas, todas as correntes dos rios corriam ao contrário, turbulentas, como se estivessem em cheia.
