Transliteration

śailāgre racitā durgā sā purair devapuropamā | vājivāraṇasampūrṇā laṅkā paramadurjayā ||

Translation

Erguida como fortaleza no cume de uma montanha, aquela cidade parecia uma metrópole dos devas; repleta de cavalos e elefantes, Laṅkā era extremamente difícil de conquistar.
