Portents Before the March to Laṅkā
रजन्यामप्रकाशस्तुसन्तापयतिचन्द्रमाः ।कृष्णरक्तांशुपर्यन्तोलोकक्षयइवोदितः ।।6.23.8।।
rajanyām aprakāśas tu santāpayati candramāḥ | kṛṣṇaraktāṃśuparyanto lokakṣaya ivoditaḥ ||6.23.8||
Mesmo à noite, a lua surge sem brilho e causa aflição; cercada de raios negros e vermelhos, ergue-se como um astro na dissolução do mundo—presságio de devastação.
"The moon devoid of glow even in the night is like the Sun with black rays around and red aura behind (the black)."
Dharma is resilience amid darkness: even when guiding lights seem obscured, the righteous must uphold truth and duty.
Cosmic signs intensify—an eerie moonrise with unnatural colors—suggesting immense loss and upheaval around the coming battle.
