विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
अर्थानर्थनिमित्तंहियदुक्तंसचिवैस्तव ।तत्रदोषंप्रपश्यामिक्रियानह्युपपद्यते ।।6.17.53।।
arthānarthanimittaṃ hi yad uktaṃ sacivais tava | tatra doṣaṃ prapaśyāmi kriyā na hy upapadyate || 6.17.53 ||
Quanto ao que disseram teus conselheiros—decidir com base no benefício ou no dano previstos—vejo nisso uma falha, pois tal ação não pode ser realizada devidamente.
"Your counsellors have said that after judging good or bad qualities we should accept or reject Vibheeshana. I see a flaw in that statement as such action would not arise."
Dharma is not only right intention but workable right action: policies must be ethically sound and practically implementable.
