सीतासान्त्वनम् / Hanuman Consoles Sita with the News of Victory
इमास्तुखलुराक्षस्योयदित्वमनुमन्यसे ।।6.116.30।।हन्तुमिच्छामितास्सर्वायाभिस्त्वंतर्जितापुरा ।
imās tu khalu rākṣasyo yadi tvam anumanyase |
hantum icchāmi tāḥ sarvā yābhis tvaṃ tarjitā purā ||6.116.30||
Se tu permitires, desejo matar todas estas rākṣasī que outrora te ameaçaram e te atormentaram.
The monkey, having sought the permission of Vibheeshana, entered Lanka city. Duly entering the Asoka grove, he attracted the attention of Sita, who was weak with no bath, cheerless, seated at the root of the tree, like Rohini star.
