Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain
नजीवन्यास्यतेशत्रुस्तवबाणपथंगतः ।।।।नर्दतस्तीक्षणदंष्ट्रस्यसिंहस्येवमहागजः ।
na jīvan yāsyate śatrus tava bāṇapathaṃ gataḥ |
nardatas tīkṣṇadaṃṣṭrasya siṃhasyeva mahāgajaḥ ||
Nenhum inimigo que tenha entrado no alcance de tuas flechas escapará com vida; assim como um grande elefante não sobrevive quando cai diante de um leão bramante de presas afiadas.
'Seeing Lakshmana in this state, just as in dream, my limbs are retrieving while walking, being on the point of death intense sorrow is growing and the desire to live is gone.'
