Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain
नैराश्यमुपगन्तुं च नालंतेमत्कृतेऽनघ ।।।।वधेनरावणस्याद्यप्रतिज्ञामनुपालय ।
nairāśyam upagantuṃ ca nālaṃ te matkṛte 'nagha |
vadhena rāvaṇasyādya pratijñām anupālaya ||
Ó irrepreensível, não te cabe cair no desespero por minha causa. Hoje, ao matar Rāvaṇa, sustenta e cumpre teu voto.
'My heroism is shy, my bow slips from my hand, arrows are dropping, my vision is blurred with tears with my brother gone.'
