प्रत्यागमनम् — Angada’s Return and the Confirmation of Sītā’s Discovery
नाज्ञापयितुमीशोऽहं युवराजोऽस्मि यद्यपि।अयुक्तं कृतकर्माणो यूयं धर्षयितुं मया।।।।
nājñāpayitum īśo 'haṃ yuvarājo 'smi yadyapi | ayuktaṃ kṛtakarmāṇo yūyaṃ dharṣayituṃ mayā ||
Ainda que eu seja o herdeiro do trono, não me cabe ordenar-vos. Como já realizastes a tarefa, seria impróprio que eu vos pressionasse ou vos desse ordens.
"Even though I am heir apparent, it is not proper for me to order you.You have accomplished the purpose and to command you is not befitting on my part."
Authority must be exercised with propriety and fairness; dharma-based leadership avoids coercion and honors those who have fulfilled their duty.
Angada clarifies his role: despite being heir-apparent, he chooses not to command the accomplished warriors and instead respects them.
