ममानुरूपं तपसो बलं च ते पराक्रमश्चास्त्रबलं च संयुगे।न त्वां समासाद्य रणावमर्दे मनश्श्रमं गच्छति निश्चितार्थम्।।।।
mamānurūpaṃ tapaso balaṃ ca te parākramaś cāstrabalaṃ ca saṃyuge | na tvāṃ samāsādya raṇāvamarde manaḥśramaṃ gacchati niścitārtham ||
O poder do teu tapas, o teu valor e a força das tuas armas no combate são iguais aos meus. Ao enfrentar-te no esmagar da guerra, minha mente não vacila: o desfecho é certo.
"The power of your penance, your valour and your ability to discharge astras in war is equal only to mine. I am not bothered about the consequences of war you wage because your victory is certain.
It illustrates confidence grounded in capability; ethically, it warns that certainty without righteous aim can become adharma—power must be aligned with right purpose.
A senior figure (likely Rāvaṇa) reassures/urges a warrior to engage decisively, claiming parity of strength and certainty of success.
