Desejo ver a cidade de Laṅkā, com seus mercados, suas muralhas e seus portais, enquanto tu observas—sem temor. Para isso vim aqui; de fato, grande é a minha curiosidade.
Seeing the monster of a woman, the powerful Hanuman, bull among vanaras endowed with wisdom spoke to her.
Truthful self-disclosure (satya) and measured intent: Hanumān states his immediate purpose plainly—observation—showing strategic clarity without needless deception at this moment.
In the standoff at Laṅkā’s entry, Hanumān explains that he has come to look over the city’s defenses and layout.
Composure and strategic intelligence: curiosity here functions as reconnaissance in service of a dharmic mission.
