Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
तिर्यगूर्ध्वमधश्चैव वीक्षमाणस्ततः कपिः।ददर्श स महत्सत्त्वमुत्थितं लवणाम्भसि।।।।
tiryag ūrdhvam adhaś caiva vīkṣamāṇas tataḥ kapiḥ |
dadarśa sa mahatsattvam utthitaṃ lavaṇāmbhasi ||
Então o macaco, olhando de lado, para cima e para baixo, viu um ser colossal erguer-se das águas salgadas do mar.
