समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
ततो देवाः सगन्धर्वाः सिद्धाश्च परमर्षयः।अब्रुवन् सूर्यसङ्काशां सुरसां नागमातरम्।।।।
tato devāḥ sa-gandharvāḥ siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ | abruvan sūryasaṅkāśāṁ surasāṁ nāgamātaram ||
Então os deuses, com os Gandharvas, os Siddhas e os grandes ṛṣis, dirigiram-se a Surasā, mãe dos Nāgas, resplandecente como o sol.
