«Por servir a vós ambos, alcancei um grande estado; e vós também, em breve, chegareis à minha própria morada, a essa mesma condição elevada.»
'I have attained this supreme state by virtue of the service rendered to you. You will also attain my state soon.'
Service to one’s parents is presented as a powerful dharma whose merit leads to spiritual elevation.
The ascetic’s son, now divinized, reassures his grieving parents that his attained state arose from serving them, and that they will soon join him.
Śuśrūṣā (devoted service) and gratitude toward parents.
