न्यवेदयत चात्मानं तस्मै लक्ष्मणपूर्वजः।पुत्रौ दशरथस्यावां भगवन् रामलक्ष्मणौ।।।।

Transliteration

nyavedayata cātmānaṁ tasmai lakṣmaṇapūrvajaḥ |

putrau daśarathasyāvāṁ bhagavan rāmalakṣmaṇau ||

Translation

Então Rama, o irmão mais velho de Lakshmana, apresentou-se ao rishi: «Ó venerável Bhagavān, somos os dois filhos de Dasharatha: Rama e Lakshmana».
