अमोघं बत मे क्षान्तं पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे।
येयमिक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः पुत्र त्वां संश्रयिष्यति।।2.4.41।।
amoghaṃ bata me kṣāntaṃ puruṣe puṣkarekṣaṇe | yeyam ikṣvāku-rājya-śrīḥ putra tvāṃ saṃśrayiṣyati || 2.4.41 ||
«Ah, meu filho, não foi em vão minha paciência e firmeza na devoção ao Senhor de olhos de lótus; pois a fortuna régia da linhagem de Ikṣvāku agora repousará sobre ti.»
