शीलव्यसनमेतत्ते नाभिजानाम्यहं पुरा।।।।बालायास्तत्त्वितिदानीं ते लक्षये विपरीतवत्।
śīlavyasanam etat te nābhijānāmy ahaṃ purā |
bālāyās tat tv idānīṃ te lakṣaye viparītavat ||
Eu não sabia antes, quando eras jovem, que em ti houvesse tal falha de caráter; mas agora, de fato, vejo em ti o oposto do que outrora conheci.
The king addressed Kaikeyi in humble words saying, Why did you exhibit this unfortunate act apparently beneficial to you? You are not ashamed of saying this like one whose faculties are possessed by an evil spirit.
