The Gift of the Sandals and Delegated Kingship
तथेति च प्रतिज्ञाय तं परिष्वज्य सादरम्।।2.112.26।।शत्रुघ्नं च परिष्वज्य भरतं चेदमब्रवीत्।
tatheti ca pratijñāya taṃ pariṣvajya sādaram || 2.112.26 ||
śatrughnaṃ ca pariṣvajya bharataṃ cedam abravīt |
«Assim seja», prometeu Rama; e, abraçando Bharata com carinho, e abraçando também Śatrughna, então disse estas palavras a Bharata.
