तमङ्के भरतं कृत्वा रामो वचनमब्रवीत्।श्यामं नलिनपत्राक्षं मत्तहंसस्वरं स्वयम्।।2.112.15।।
tam aṅke bharataṃ kṛtvā rāmo vacanam abravīt | śyāmaṃ nalinapatrākṣaṃ mattahaṃsasvaraṃ svayam || 2.112.15 ||
Tomando Bharata em seu regaço, o próprio Rāma falou—Bharata, de tez escura, com olhos como pétalas de lótus e voz doce como a de um cisne embriagado.
