Assim como a descreveu o sábio Agastya, senhor de si, esta encantadora Godāvarī é cercada por árvores em flor; está repleta de cisnes e patos, e torna-se radiante com bandos de aves cakravāka.
O handsome one, neither far nor near are seen tall mountains and flowering trees and herds of deer. Their numerous caves echo with sounds of peacocks.
Dharma is reverence for truthful, realized speech: Rāma validates Agastya’s words through experience, modeling trust in the testimony of sages and fidelity to satya.
After reaching the Pañcavaṭī region, Rāma points out the Godāvarī and notes that it matches Agastya’s earlier description.
Rāma’s gratitude and respect toward spiritual authority—he remembers and honors the sage’s guidance.
