À medida que a poeira era pouco a pouco solta no céu e a escuridão lentamente se desfazia, surgiu então uma intenção hostil contra Viṣṇu, que estava dentro do ventre.

Narrative voice (speaker not specified in the provided excerpt)

Concept: Even as ignorance (darkness) clears, envy and hostility can arise against the indwelling Lord—warning that partial illumination may provoke egoic resistance.

Application: When clarity increases, watch for subtle pride and contrarian impulses; counter with humility, nāma-smaraṇa, and seeking sādhus to avoid aparādha.

Primary Rasa: raudra

Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A sky once choked with dust begins to clear; shafts of light pierce thinning darkness. In the foreground, a shadowed figure clutches his belly as if sensing Viṣṇu within, while a sharp, hostile glare forms—an inner storm against the very light that is arriving.","primary_figures":["Viṣṇu (subtle indwelling presence)","a hostile asuric figure (unnamed)","personified darkness/dust (as dissipating veils)"],"setting":"A transitional cosmic horizon: half in gloom, half in emerging clarity, with dust-clouds unraveling into the upper sky.","lighting_mood":"dramatic chiaroscuro","color_palette":["charcoal black","storm violet","ashen gray","piercing white light","deep sapphire"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: a split-scene with gold leaf rays breaking through dark clouds, a stylized figure with tense posture holding the abdomen, subtle iconographic hint of Viṣṇu within (miniature blue form or lotus emblem), ornate borders emphasizing the moral drama, rich reds and blacks with gold highlights.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: delicate gradation from darkness to light across the sky, fine dust veils dissolving, a single figure in profile with intense eyes and clenched hands near the belly, minimal but expressive landscape, cool indigo shadows and sharp white light accents.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines and expressive eyes, strong contrast between dark background and bright clearing, symbolic depiction of Viṣṇu within as a small blue aura-lotus, rhythmic cloud motifs, red/yellow/green accents against blackened sky.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: patterned dark clouds with dotted dust motifs giving way to a central burst of light, stylized figure showing inner agitation, lotus and chakra motifs subtly indicating Viṣṇu’s presence, ornate floral borders in deep blue and gold."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"dramatic","suggested_raga":"Bhairavi","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["low drum pulse","wind gust","distant thunder","sudden hush"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:

FAQs

It contrasts the clearing of external darkness with the arising of inner hostility—specifically, enmity directed toward Viṣṇu who is described as being within the belly.

By centering Viṣṇu as the pivotal divine presence and portraying antagonism toward him (drohabuddhi) as a significant moral and spiritual turning point.

Even when outer conditions improve (darkness dissipates), inner motives can degrade; the verse warns that malice toward the divine (and by extension dharma) can arise from within and must be checked.
