एकदा सुंदरो गेहं श्वपचस्तस्य छद्मना । प्राप्तो धृत्वा ब्राह्मणस्य रूपं वै तरुणः सुधीः

ekadā suṃdaro gehaṃ śvapacastasya chadmanā | prāpto dhṛtvā brāhmaṇasya rūpaṃ vai taruṇaḥ sudhīḥ

Certa vez, o jovem belo e sábio chegou—disfarçado—à casa daquele cozinheiro de cães (pária), assumindo a forma de um brāhmaṇa.
