ब्रह्मोवाच । शृणु देव जगन्नाथ यस्मादस्माकमागतम् । कथयामि सुरश्रेष्ठ तदहं लोकभावन

Transliteration

brahmovāca | śṛṇu deva jagannātha yasmādasmākamāgatam | kathayāmi suraśreṣṭha tadahaṃ lokabhāvana

Translation

Brahmā disse: «Ouve, ó Deus, Senhor do universo, a razão de nossa vinda. Ó melhor entre os suras, sustentador dos mundos, eu a relatarei a Ti.»
