The Deeds of Sukalā (Vena Episode): Husband as Tīrtha & Pativratā-Dharma

युवतीनां पृथक्तीर्थं विना भर्तुर्न शोभते । सुखदं नास्ति वै लोके स्वर्गमोक्षप्रदायकम्

yuvatīnāṃ pṛthaktīrthaṃ vinā bharturna śobhate | sukhadaṃ nāsti vai loke svargamokṣapradāyakam

Para as jovens mulheres, não é tido como apropriado realizar uma peregrinação separada, sem o esposo. Neste mundo, diz‑se, não há doador de felicidade como aquilo que concede céu e libertação (moksha).
