दशवर्षसहस्रं तौ यावत्तु वनसंस्थितौ । वायुभक्षौ निराहारौ संजातौ शुभदर्शनौ

daśavarṣasahasraṃ tau yāvattu vanasaṃsthitau | vāyubhakṣau nirāhārau saṃjātau śubhadarśanau

Enquanto permaneceram na floresta—por dez mil anos—alimentaram-se apenas de ar, sem comida, e adquiriram um aspecto auspicioso e radiante.
