श्रीमहादेव उवाच । एवमस्तु महादेवि नंदनं देवसंकुलम् । दर्शयिष्यामि ते पुण्यं द्विजसिद्धनिषेवितम्

Śrī Mahādeva disse: «Assim seja, ó Mahādevī. Eu te mostrarei o sagrado Nandana, repleto de devas—puro e frequentado por siddhas realizados e veneráveis brāhmaṇas».
