Description of the Pilgrimage to the Sacred Tīrthas

Kurukṣetra-yātrā-krama

अदित्या तत्र पुत्रार्थं सम्यक् चीर्णं महत्तपः । तत्र स्नात्वा समभ्यर्च्य देवमातरमंगना ॥ १२ ॥

adityā tatra putrārthaṃ samyak cīrṇaṃ mahattapaḥ | tatra snātvā samabhyarcya devamātaramaṃganā || 12 ||

Ali, Aditi, desejando um filho, praticou devidamente uma grande austeridade. Tendo-se banhado naquele lugar e venerado a Mãe dos Devas, a nobre senhora Aditi alcançou o seu intento.
