Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that sacred calendrical junction-days (parva) become especially fruitful at Prayāga, where giving (dāna) performed within one’s means is upheld as a direct dharmic act that increases merit in a tīrtha setting.
By linking Viṣṇu-associated days (Viṣṇupadī) with charitable giving, the verse frames bhakti as practical service—honoring Vishnu through generosity, humility, and right action at a holy place.
It implicitly relies on Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/calendar science) to identify parva-days like Ṣaḍaśīti, Sahasra, and Viṣṇupadī, guiding when specific rites such as dāna are most auspicious.
