Gaṅgā-snānā-mahātmya
सायंकाले शतगुणमनन्तं शिवसन्निधौ । कपिलाकोटिदानाद्धि गंगास्नानं विशिष्यते ॥ ४५ ॥
sāyaṃkāle śataguṇamanantaṃ śivasannidhau | kapilākoṭidānāddhi gaṃgāsnānaṃ viśiṣyate || 45 ||
Declara-se que banhar-se no Gaṅgā é superior até mesmo à dádiva de dez milhões de vacas kapilā; especialmente ao entardecer, quando o mérito se torna cem vezes maior, e, na presença de Śiva, é imensurável.
